Lord of the Rings...

Are some of the best movies EVER! I've been watching the trilogy (extended version), thanks to Maddy. I am reminded again how much I love these movies and how great they are! J.R.R. Tolkien was a genius. And Peter Jackson was also a genius for bringing the books to life. There are a few things in the movies that aren't in the books and a few things in the books that aren't in the movies. (Tom Bombadil, for example) But, all in all they did an awesome job of re-creating the books. I simplpy love those movies. They are epic. I now want to go pick up my elven sword and kill a few orcs! (And that, of course, made me sound like a huge geek...I'm really not...I promise!)
